Still learning Johns way...

Well, it seems that we have a new layout on here for posting. Looks good from this end!  As you may very well know by now, I am conducting an online experiment about John Chow.com.   He has a website that offers a free down loadable ebook.
Well, I downloaded it, and decided to make a project of following everything he says to do.
One problem.... the advice isn't too specific...you have to do a lot of learning on your own.  I suppose John figures that if you got to his website, then you probably know a bit about what you are doing................
WRONG JOHN!  I know very very little.
But, it is my experiment, and I don't want to give up just yet.

See ya around the blog!

Baby steps for Big goals...

Well, I have really accomplished a lot toward my goal. First of all, I didn't just talk about it, I actually took action and did it! I bought two domain names, and have been reading all about John Chow.com and his ideas, suggestions and rules for making money on line.
I have challenged myself to try to earn at least $1.oo...... (not to much to ask for?)

I am documenting on another blog, the effort, time and headache involved in this experiment.
I have NO idea what I am doing, and I am only taking John Chow's word for it, that I can make money on line.

I have been reading his e book, from his website at www.johnchow.com I have found it fairly helpful. However, it seem more geared for amateur webbloggers, not newbies like me....
But, since he is supposedly a successful blogger...I am sticking to analyzing him. It would be too confusing to be jumping around do different Blog Moguls, with each one suggesting their way of doing it...
So, after checking John Chow.com on Alexa and Technocrati for about a month...and in seeing John Chow's blog very consistent in his stats...I am still opting to base my model on him.

Besides, what really won my heart for John's blog, was the video he took of his home in China.
It has been in his family for over four generations...and is still standing.
John Chow must find a sense of comfort and pride in having roots and memorials like that.
If I was John, I would forbid it to ever be torn down...ever.
So, I just wanted to let Banditas Blog in on my latest ventures...and its getting fun to see where this will all go.

Later!
Ps) Soon you can follow me at : http://www.valeriemosso.com

and maybe also at the other site I am setting up: http://www.johnchowblog.com
See you here or there!
God Bless!
