Facebook Experience

Well, that was different!
I participated in a on line social networking thing called Face book.
I gave it my best try, and must say, I don't care for it at all.

I got all kinds of emails telling me who posted what...and this and that. Very distracting to my other on line business.
I found myself falling into reading all sorts of things.
People ranting and raving about our government...
causing me to want to rant and rave about our government.
In all reality, what can I do?
Start a personal revolution?

In all reality, there is not much us average citizens can do, because we are all so busy doing what we need to do, just to stay above water....
Who has time or the resources for a revolution?
We would go bankrupt!
Revolutions are for people born under oppression, and the idea of a revolution wont fare well with people born in freedom, and living in that freedom. Even if it is being corroded.
It will take the next couple of generations to wake up to the fact that they are no longer free as their grandparents were...and by then, they wont know what to do.
I predict in about 20o more years or so, the people will finally revolt.
We will be long gone, only a memory to them.
They wont have any idea what living in a free world was all about.
It will be something written about and studied in history classes....
Just as we read about "The Red Coats are coming" Paul Reveres famous line...and the Boston Tea Party...etc.

So, I face this second day of September, deleting my Face book account, and feeling all the better for it because there is NOTHING I can do.
I must concentrate on what is immediately in front of me, the task ahead, the goal I have for our family.

So, Good bye Face book.
It was a weird experience to say the least.
As for any others I left behind on there, I am sorry.
You can always use the ole fashioned idea of emailing or simply calling me to see what I am up to!
Take care....
Val
